LIMES

 

LIMES derived from the image of a mathematical function. Similar to a curve which is steadily approaching zero, I wanted to transfer this decrease to the edge of a tabletop. The larger the diameter, the thinner the edge. The surface curvature at the bottom of the tabletop offers enough space for the legs.  Without any additional screws these legs can be inserted into the tabletop. A special 3-D veneer covers both sides of the tabletop.
